History
The first step towards the creation of PROCOS was taken on 25 Novemter 1992 when Norbert Büchel and Siegfried Gassner, two citizens of Liechtenstein, set up a business for the development and introduction of ERP-systems. Five years later, in 1997, Norbert and Siegfried founded PROCOS Professional Controlling Systems. The product family STRAT&GO was created, and developed in close cooperation with
the Controller Akademie and the Dr. David Norton's Balanced Scorecard (BSC) Collaborative. Today, large and middle-size firms across all industries use STRAT&GO to support a value-oriented approach to business management.
Following the development of the Balanced Scorecard theory by Prof. Robert Kaplan and Dr. David Norton in cooperation with the Harvard Business School (HBS), Norbert and Siegfried decided to focus the development of their software solution on supporting this groundbreaking management theory and stimulate its adoption in Europe. As a result, PROCOS, with the STRAT&GO product family, was one of the first to offer such a tailor-made instrument for the application of Balanced Scorecard. An instrument that PROCOS continues to optimise every day with the help of its clients.
An international team combining experience across the areas of development, management, administration and sales and marketing drives the success of STRAT&GO in Europe and beyond. Always in the context of PROCOS absolute priority is on ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction. While this may often come at the expense of short-term investments in branding and advertising, PROCOS lives by the belief that in the end quality prevails.
