 Balanced Scorecard theory is clearly not just about software. However, the successful realization and operationalization of this theory in the complex daily reality of most companies implies the need for dedicated software support. All key parameters of the scorecard, including individual user authorization for specific views and data, are fully managed within the application itself. For the input of data from external sources into the STRAT&GO database a number of options exist, depending on client preferences and/or the sophistication of existing client systems. While the possibility exists to input data manually directly into the database using the Client/Server and Webcockpit, this process can also be automated using the Data IMport/EXport tool DIMEX.
In those cases where the client wishes to initially focus on creating 'indicator
dashboards' rather than a full Balanced Scorecard system, the sub-module: SBS - STRAT&GO
Business Dashboard offers a slimmed-down solution.
Important additions to the Performance Management are SBA - STRAT&GO Business Analyzer, offering multi-dimensional analysis of indicators, and SBP - STRAT&GO
Business Planner, for the planning and budgeting process. Both modules can be fully integrated and are equipped with early-warning and simulation functionality similar to SBS.
